Charles Bryan Obituary

Mr. Charles “Woody” Bryan, Sr.  age 80, passed away, Monday, May 19, 2025, at his home in Dothan, surrounded by his loving family.  

 

Mr. Bryan was born September 24, 1944, in Colquitt, Georgia to Hagan Bryan and Lavada Bryan.   He was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard.  Along with his love of cars, he enjoyed fishing and playing with his Grandchildren.  

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James “Jimmy” Bryan; granddaughter Amanda Cox; great grandchildren Aiden Bryan and Saylor McKnight; brother Skip Bryan. 

 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jacqueline Bryan; son Charles Bryan (Michelle), daughter Cindy Tate (Carl); granddaughters Kristine McKnight Dan); Sabrina Ledford (Charles); great grandchildren Emery Ledford, Andrew Ledford and his many friends and family.  

 

Celebration of Life services will be held, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, 6:30 pm at Fowler Family Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 5:30pm
