Christine Lee Daley Gibson, age 66, of Brundidge, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Southeast Health.
Born on October 30, 1958, in California to James Daley and Veronica Peavey Daley, Christine built a meaningful life centered on family, hard work, and creativity. She worked for many years as a workers’ compensation claims adjuster. She was a gifted crafter. She also enjoyed reading, gambling, traveling, driving the side-by-side, hunting for antiques, and—most of all—being a grandma. Her beloved dog, Snickers, was never far from her side.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 23 years, Clinton Gibson; sons Gregory Collard (Arika), Joseph Gibson (Laura), Joshua Gibson (Nozomi), and Jason Gibson (Hiroka); daughter Colleen Rhodes (Shannon); and grandchildren Seth, Rebecca, Gavin, Nolan, Novaleigh, Benjamin, Taylor, Michael, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Leah, and William. She is also survived by her brother James Daley, Jr.; sisters Theresa Caballero (Glen), Mary Brush (Dan), and Jeanne Ann Johnson (Steve); and her beloved furbaby, Snickers.
Christine will be remembered for her kind heart, dedication, and the joy she found in simple moments with the people—and pets—she loved.
