David Michael Ammons

David Ammons, age 68 of Dothan, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Graceville Health and Rehab.  A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

David was born September 22 1956 in Arizona. He worked as a Security Guard.  He was a caretaker of his brother and mother.  He enjoyed fishing.  He was an Oakland A's fan and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Dothan, AL. 

He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Caldwell; and stepfather Robert Caldwell and  his late wife Connie Ammons; brother Danny Hayes, his  Aunt Nanci Chisler and Uncle William (Bill) Chisler; and cousin Billy Chisler.

Survivors include his sister Brenda Mungie; close friend Robin Fancher;  his Uncle Howard Shannon; cousins Larry Chisler, Jesse Chisler, Jody Farmer, Crystal Chisler; and Grand daughters Petra, Autumn and Wynter.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the bus ministry and missions at Crossroads Baptist Church of Dothan (2575 Westgate PKWY, Dothan, Al 36303.
