Hope Turner, age 53 of Newton passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Southeast Health following an illness.  
 
Hope was born September 27, 1971 in California to Thomas Edward Thornton and Carol Lynn Ellison Whitman.  She worked as a CNA in the Healthcare field until she was no longer able to.  She enjoyed painting pictures, sewing, crocheting and Watching Alabama Football.  
 
She is preceded in death by her father; a sister Tracy Lynn Thornton Philson.
 
Survivors include her son Christopher Turner (Shelbie); daughters Sarah Turner (Nyle), Ashley Nicole Day (Bree); grandchildren Silas, Jason, Alice. Deaglan and Aiden; Hope’s boyfriend of ten years Charlie; sisters Chris Ann Little Brown (Jerry), Angie Marie Thornton Aldredge (Luke), Chelsey Taylor Thornton.
