Kimberly Michelle (Johnson) Cole

Kimberly Michelle Johnson Cole, age 54, of Cowarts, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Southeast Health.

She was born April 18, 1971, in Alabama to the late Gary Lee Johnson and Mary Diane Dean Seay. Kimberly worked as a staff member at Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center, where she was known for her dedication and caring nature.

Kimberly was a homebody at heart who truly enjoyed the simple joys of life. She loved taking naps, spending time on Facebook, arts and crafts, and being with her family. She especially enjoyed watching crime and primal shows—NCIS being her favorite, with Special Agent Gibbs at the top of her list. Kimberly loved being outdoors, trips to the beach, and indulging in her favorite meals, especially shrimp scampi and dining at Red Lobster. She also had some super-cool dance moves that brought smiles and laughter to those around her.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her children, Avery Cole (Abby), Alexander Cole, and Abigayle Rodriguez (Bernie); her grandson, Colton Cole; her sisters, Sonya Prine (Randy) and Christy Diane; her boyfriend, James Roberts; and her beloved feline fur babies, Kenji Binx, and Salem Little. She is also survived by other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
