Liza Jane Walker Bridges

Liza “Jane” Bridges age 72 of Daleville passed away September 10, 2024 at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness, lovingly surrounded by family and friends No funeral or memorial service will be held per Jane’s request. 

Jane was born March 11, 1952 to Lida Holmes Walker and J.C. Walker of Midland City.  She was a lifetime resident of Dale County. She retired from Globe Motors, Inc where she served 40 years of dedicated service. 

Jane will be membered for her spirited personality, love for her family and giving heart.  She looked forward to outings with family and friends and enjoyed traveling.  Jane always enjoyed a good movie and her love for animals was extraordinary.  Jane also loved to spend time with her son, Clifton, putting puzzles together. 

She is preceded in death by sisters Peggy Powers (Joe), Mary Griffin (Huey) and brother Michael Walker (Brenda).

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Harlan “Neal” Boswell, Daleville; son John Clifton Bridges, Daleville; step-daughter Moriah Boswell Ford, Illinois; two step-grandchildren Aiden and Kaly, Illinois; sisters Julie Mathieu of Brighton, Tennessee, Susan Hill (David), Dothan; brother Kenneth Walker (Mickey), Byron, Georgia; nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her very much.
