Mitchell Wayne Buie

Wayne Buie age 69 of Slocomb passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his residence following a battle with cancer.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 2 p.m. at Fowler Family Funeral Home Chapel (965 Woodland Drive, Dothan, AL) with Pastor Larry Anderson officiating.  Family will receive friends from 1-2p.m.  Internment will be at Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashford.  

Wayne was born December 26, 1954 in Dothan, Alabama to William Buie and Evelyn Emanuel Buie.  He loved his work as owner and operator of Buie Pest Control. He worked up until he was no longer able to.  He enjoyed watching Alabama football, playing guitar, golfing and fishing.  He was also a member of Harvest Church of Dothan.  

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and brother Kevin Buie.  

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ann Buie; daughter Brooke Guy (Greg), stepchildren Steven Guy (Susan), Melanie Lyall, Bobbie Jo Videen; grandchildren Joshua Guy, Emily Guy, Leanna Jones, Austin Lyall, Dylan Lyall and Anna Marie Guy; brother Michael Buie (Anita) and his beloved fur baby Joy.
