Robert Earl Brunson
Robert Brunson age 86 of Ashford, passed away at his home Monday, July 22, 2024.
Robert was born September 28, 1937 in Houston County, Alabama to Vaughn B. Brunson and Ina Mae Glass Brunson. He worked as a manager of local grocery stores for 50+ years. After his retirement, he and his wife Joyce ran a lawn care business. Robert enjoyed watching cowboy shows, westerns and Auburn football. He liked working in his yard and spending time with his great-grandsons Grady and Sully who were the light of his life.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 65 years, Joyce Cook Brunson; daughter Cynthia Longgrear (Frank); granddaughter Amber Longgrear Brown (Robbie); great grandsons Grady Brown, Sully Brown; brothers Larry Brunson (Glenda), Tony Brunson (Lynn); a special niece Carol Merritt.
