Robert Kelley age 62 of Dothan passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Extendicare following a brief illness.   A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time.  

Robert was born January 22, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York to Pastor Melvin Kelley, Sr. and Mother of the Church Bernice McGilvary Kelley.  Robert graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.  He worked in the healthcare field as a CNA.  He enjoyed spending time with his son and family, listening to music and watching movies.  He loved his fur baby Keeda. 

Robert is preceded in death by his parents 

Melvin Kelley, Sr and Bernice Kelley; grandmother Georgia Mae “Peach” Lynn; seven siblings, Lurlene Kelley,  Alfredel Kelley, Melvin Kelley Jr., Melva  Jean Stradford, George O. Kelley,  Clifton Kelley and Bruce Kelley.

He leaves his love and memories to be cherished by his loving and devoted son Caleb, his siblings; Inez Berry (James), Aretha Brown (Albert) Ceasar Kelley, Joseph Kelley (Myisha), Shawna Kelley, Grace Waddy, and Rashad S. Muhammad (Gloria) and a host of nieces and nephews.
