Roger K Stepp

Roger K. Stepp, a beloved father, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on October 5, 1944, Roger was a devoted husband and father of five, and served proudly for 20+ years as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army.

Outside of his military service, Roger was an avid fisherman and deer hunter, finding great pleasure in the outdoors. His laid-back demeanor and positive attitude made him a joy to be around, and his ever-present smile was a staple to all who knew him.

He leaves behind his sons, Terry Stepp and Sean Stepp; his daughters, Christina Stepp and Angelique Love, (husband Cody), his brothers Malta Romaine "Maynard" Stepp (wife, Paula) of Texarkana, AK; Jullian Ace Stepp (wife, Meloney) of Texarkana, AK; Mark Stepp (wife, Kim) of Advance, MO, Robert "Bob" Moore of Enterprise, AL; sister, Rosalyn "Tepper" Stepp Burger (husband, Marvin) of Zalma, MO. His family will forever treasure his memory and the legacy of love and happiness he leaves behind.

Roger is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Heidi Stepp, and his son Ronald Stepp, his sister Kathy Stepp Bond, his brother Ronald Stepp, his sister Carol “Sue” Stepp Moore Graddy and his brother Terry “Mike” Moore.

A celebration of Roger's life will be held at a future date for close friends and family. Roger's memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched, and his spirit will remain a source of comfort and strength for his loved ones.
