Shawn Ranae (Graham) Drysdale

Shawn Ranae Graham Drysdale, age 51, of Dothan, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Southeast Health, surrounded by her loving family.

Shawn was born on November 30, 1973, in Gridley, California, to Sylena Graham. She was a proud and dedicated employee at Westside Publix, where she served as a certified pharmacy technician. Shawn was known for her generous spirit, tireless work ethic, and deep love for her family. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need.

Above all, Shawn was an incredible mother to her two children. She enjoyed the simple things in life—watching crime shows, sipping sweet tea, and cutting grass. She was also an Alabama football fan, cheering on the Crimson Tide. Her favorite characters were Stitch and Baby Yoda, both of whom reflected her playful and loving nature.

She is survived by her son, Dakota Drysdale; daughter, Alexie Drysdale; her mother, Sylena Graham; brother, Dwane Graham; and the father of her children, Richard Drysdale. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Shawn’s memory.
