Age 40, of Dothan, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Flowers Hospital.

Tara was born on April 8, 1985, in Dothan, Alabama, to Glen Allen Lewis and Pamela Jean Smith. She graduated from high school and went on to complete trade school courses. Tara worked as an inventory specialist with RGIS.

She was a talented and artistic individual who loved arts and crafts, especially painting. She also had a fondness for Batman, SpongeBob, and fishing—simple joys that reflected her fun-loving and creative spirit.

She is survived by her father, Glen Allen Lewis (Janice); mother, Pamela Jean Smith (Tim); sisters, Jessica Jean Lewis (Ryan), Misty Mae Lewis (Billy), Taylor Marie Lewis (Scott), and Dana Mann (Stephen); special loving grandmother Dorothy Smith; nieces and nephews, Kaylee Lewis, Ryan Lewis Jr., and Drew Lewis; a special friend, Keisha Merritt; and a host of cousins and extended family members.
