Wanda Suzanne Williams Hockaday, age 66, a resident of Crowne Health Care in Eufaula, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.
Wanda was born on March 19, 1960, in Georgia to the late Dan Williams and Patricia Tate Medley.
She earned an Associate’s Degree in Psychology. Wanda enjoyed reading, watching movies, talking on the phone with family and friends, playing games, completing word searches, shopping, traveling, fishing, cooking, and baking. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for her family, and the joy she found in spending time with those she loved.
preceded in death by her father, Dan Williams, and her mother, Patricia Tate Medley.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Powell, Vance Hockaday (Jeimmy), and Wesley Hockaday; her daughters, Jamie Hart, Chelsie Daggett, and Jennifer Morris (Kaloeb); her beloved grandchildren, Adela, Breanna, Asianna, Aidan, Brentlee, Jocelyne, Silas, Isaiah, and Kyven; her cherished great-grandchildren, Elijah, Elaina, Bruno, Emberli, Dalia, Kenya, and Lilibet; nieces Cassandra”Sonie” Williams, Kristie Barnes (Jason), Amy Williams (Josh); and her special friends, Pastor Bill Sanders and his wife, Phyllis Sanders.
Wanda’s memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
